I & II Thessalonians Book Study (2021-22)
Living in the end-times–a study of I & II Thessalonians.
The Thessalonian church was born in an environment much as our own: rampant idolatry, sexual immorality, devaluation of work, cultural and social opposition to the Gospel, and outright persecution. Yet in all of this the Thessalonian church thrived and serves as a model for healthy believers and churches today. They truly flourished under persecution.
These letters challenge us to live lives of faith, love, hope, and holiness as we draw nearer to the rise of the Antichrist and the coming of the Lord. What we discover in studying these two short letters is that the characteristics of a healthy church are the same throughout all generations, in all cultures, and in all kinds of circumstances.
